Lesson Outline
Chris was seen this morning following a lengthy spring break. He rapidly initiated conversation as the session commenced, and quickly apologized for not sharing that he was going to be absent for two weeks. He had what appeared to be a "preplanned agenda" of a myriad of topics that he wanted to discuss. Attention was strong this session, and topic transition was supported with familiar cues. It is significant to note that once engulfed in the session, and expanded reciprocal conversation was facilitated, spontaneous use of familiar transition phrases was noted. Speaker -speaker overlap was noted to increase this session, as Chris was clearly eager to share his thoughts. However, instances of stronger self awareness were observed, and subsequent acknowledgment, and repair was noted across 8 occurrences. Topic expansion once again included aspects of perspective taking, presupposition, and "filtering."
