Chris was excited to meet today, as he unexpectedly initiated the session from home this morning a few minutes ahead of schedule. He shared that he was "home from school today," and "wanted to make sure that we still had our class." He rapidly began a sort of "show and tell" as he shared the new computer apps and programs that he recently acquired. This afforded an excellent opportunity to review narrative generation, and the key components needed for a strong, cohesive, linguistically sound narrative. He quickly shared "Oh yeah Ms. Lynne, I remember all that stuff," and proceeded to generate a strong narrative with minimal cueing. Attention was strong today, and conversational reciprocity was characterized by lengthy cycles of exchange with periods of overlap notably decreased. Strong session today. He was commended for demonstrating such responsibility for ensuring that he was present today.
