Lesson Outline
The session commenced with Chris apologizing for missing the last two sessions. He shared that he was sick, and then traveled to New York. He was eager to share details about his newest "projects," and ideas for some new collaborations. Conversational reciprocity was strong, however, periods of speaker-speaker overlap were noted today. Periods of increased attentional shifting were noted this session as well. Review of familiar supports and strategies were facilitative and Chris was able to successfully monitor instances of overlap as well as periods of distraction, attentional shifting and/or abrupt topic shifting. He subsequently attempted to repair these instances of communication breakdown 70% of the time, following provision of familiar prompts and cues.
