PJ had a great class today discussing ratios. We have already discussed how to turn ratios into fractions and compare. Now we are applying these fractions to real world scenarios. For example, who swims faster? Ricky who can swim 11 laps in 8 minutes or Nicky who can swim 7 laps in 5 minutes. We compared 11/8 to 7/5. to see that 7/5 is larger and Nicky swims faster.
