Lesson Topic
Spanish Action Words
Lesson Outline
Today, Libby was introduced to 5 Spanish verbs by -acting them out -seeing them on note cards -repeating them aloud -drawing accompanying pictures and -writing the first letter of each of the words. By the end of the class, Libby was able to recognize the words and do the accompanying action. She is an astute learner of the language and quickly paired the words with actions.
She was able to fairly consistently translate the Spanish verb to English when quizzed at the end of class.
Libby was so focused that she finished slightly early. She was given the choice of acting out her verbs outside or listening to a Spanish book read aloud.
She chose to listen to the book.
We read the start of "Adivina Cuanto Te Quiero."
