We learned the proper way to grip the drum sticks, and how to properly hit the drums. We talked about basic rhythm, and counting to 4 while keeping time. We listened to several songs from animated movies and played along to them on the drums trying to keep a basic 4 count rhythm with them. We learned about the different parts of the drum set and talked about the different sounds made by each of them.
