Test Prep - Hometowns, Vacations, etc.
Lesson Outline
Max worked on an assignment given to him by his homeschool that has questions about his hometown and vacations.
Max read and answered the questions. He displayed a high level of comprehension. He did a good job of answering.
I pushed him to use the same good writing techniques in English as he would in Spanish. That included the removal of certain deadweight phrases as well as walking through the process of forming a main thought followed by supporting thoughts in his written responses.
We discussed a number of conjugations including the present, future, near future, conditional, and imperfect.
I would encourage Max to focus on some details such at the gender of nouns as he prepares for his test.
