Joshua has improved in his ability to identify important details of a text. We worked on narrowing the amount of text he highlights when finding the important detail (as in not highlighting the entire sentence but rather words/phrases). Joshua's attempted his first draft of his summary on his own, but was unable to connect supporting details for his main idea. However, he was again able to speak at length about the topic, so I took notes on his dictation and asked him to write his 2nd draft based off of those notes. It worked!
