Lesson Outline
Libby and I worked on doing directions in Spanish.
She was told the words left, right, and straight. She practiced saying the words several times. She is still working on getting the perfect pronunciations but says the words well enough to be understood. This is great because the word for left can be quite difficult.
She then navigated from her classroom to the back of the school (art room) by giving me directions each time that we arrived at a decision point in the school.
Then, she chose two animals to which we would give directions. She chose 2 frogs. We would flip a coin to see how far the frogs would move each turn.
She helped her from go from the path to the water by giving it directions each turn.
