We worked on letter recognition, phonics, compare and contrast. as well as writing activities. The second portion of our session, I focused on reading a book to Lexi and asking comprehension questions. After the book, we reviewed the sequential order of the story as well as discussion about the characters.
Lesson Outline
Using magnetic letters, a letter game that Lexi could create basic words with a guide and teacher assistance. Active play with toys, objects to compare and contrast, books, puzzles, writing and drawing, two books and stuffed animals to represent characters.
