Lesson Topic
Compound Probability
Lesson Outline
We will determine probabilities involving OR and Not. The probability of event A or B is the sum of the probabilities, minus any duplication. Those involving NOT (also called complementary probability) are found by finding the probability that the event does occur and subtracting it from 1. Cards, dice, spinners, and real situations will be used for examples.

Lesson Comments
Cam came to class with a pain in his back. He said he couldn't do any math. He asked to go out to the library to lie down because his mom was coming to pick him up and he could only handle the pain on the couch. He did leave early with his assignment which is due tomorrow.
