Colson reviewed how earthquakes happen most frequently at plate boundaries. He read about divergent, convergent and transform boundaries, and analyzed the diagrams showing the focus of each earthquake at the boundaries. We discussed the diagrams. He read about the effects of earthquakes: danger to people and structures, and tsunamis. He listed some of the hazards associated with earthquakes on land and underwater.
