For our first session, I first reviewed the structure of the SAT test and the scoring algorithm . We then sampled the various types of questions and discussed strategies for answering each type: vocabulary in context, main idea, function of a sentence , structure of passage , and last, data interpretation. We noted the importance of certain key interpretative words such ,"yet, still, despite, " etc as well as the strategy of process of elimination.
