Aiden’s session started with a mix-up, as he mistakenly received a math worksheet intended for another class. He completed it quickly and correctly before shifting focus back to his art. He spent the remainder of class repairing his clay sculpture, carefully reattaching a broken finger and reinforcing the character’s club which hadn’t properly bonded in the kiln. With the remaining time, he explored fantasy concept art online, showing me pieces that inspire him. Aiden has a strong passion for concept art and encouraging him to translate his inspiration into his own work through sketching and sculpting will help him develop his artistic voice.
