As Audrey requested assistance in strategizing responses to questions that required identifying textual support for a claim, we today first worked on questions from practice exams that test this skill. I provided instruction first on how to identify the passage's claim or hypothesis and then how to focus on responses that often restate the claim or describe the claim. We then reviewed Module 1 of a practice test that Audrey completed for homework stopping to examine questions where she had difficulty . We began discussing SAT grammar skills which we will in detail examine during our next session on Tuesday.
