Financial Literacy Mini-Project: Business Plan: Instructions and Requirements for a Mini-Project Business Plan explained in detail to the student. Project information sheet given to the student which lists the specific items to be completed within a detailed 4-year Business Plan for a small business of the student's choosing. Start-up costs, continuing monthly costs (taxes, insurance, utilities), reserve funds, and labor costs (payroll). Projections for monthly and annual sales amounts, profit calculations and Return On Investment R.O. I.

Brainstorm ideas for the Mini-project: Type of business, buy vs lease the building needed for the business, and monthly cost and income forecasts.
