This morning, Teddy and I reviewed addition strategies. We began with the make a 10 strategy with Teddy verbally saying all of the "friends". Then, he added single digits to 10 to make teen numbers. Finally, we worked on the doubles facts. The doubles facts to 10 were written on the whiteboard and we listened to a doubles fact song before Teddy wrote in the addend doubles for given sums.
