Today we continued to study Buck's organic transformation virtually into a new species, an evolved Uber-being. I provided instruction on London's perspective that Mankind could likewise evolve to a higher plane where violence and exploitation are no longer rules of survival. We noted specific textual language demonstrating Buck's "super evolution ." On the board I placed a thematic pattern chart which Colson copied into his notes.We further reviewed Colson's homework -fill in the blank comprehension questions based on yesterday's lesson. Last, we analyzed how each of Buck's prey is higher on the food chain, culminating in this chapter with Buck killing a moose.
