For the first day of Art Studio Upper School, I asked each student to draw a tree in his sketchbook. It could be any kind of tree from memory or imagination. This drawing exercise is valuable, as it shows how each student has his own individual artistic style. Aiden's tree drawing was small but powerful! His tree was a mushroom-like tree growing out of a head of a man. How clever! His use of line and shading was thoughtful and well done! I am looking forward to seeing more exciting work from Aiden, and I am happy to be working with him in Drawing 1! I see great potential!
