We will discuss the syllabus, class procedures and an overview of the course content. We will study the concept of undefined terms as related to geometry (point, line, and plane). We will discuss the statement types used in formal geometry: definition, postulate, and theorem.

We had a good discussion of the procedures, methods, and material that will be followed in this course. We determined that we will not use a textbook. We will have homework on a regular basis, a weekly quiz, and a test at the end of each quarter. We discussed the undefined terms and statements that are the basis of formal geometry. We had a very good session.
