Lesson Topic
Abstract Expressionism
Lesson Outline
Libby looked at the wonderful dots she created yesterday and decided she wanted to do more abstract expressionist drawing and painting outside the circle’s borders. She created two wonderful artworks using the concentric circle as her muse. Then she experimented with chalk and oil pastels and watercolor paints. She moved to the floor painting area where she was able to splatter paint. She wants to continue working in this style during Lower School Studio. Libby is trying new materials and processes! Brava, Libby!
