We used the big box of colored pencils to color the Florida flag and State Seal according to the key. I asked Libby and Remington what a key is and how it is used. Libby said it is a guide. That's a very good definition. We looked at the key to guide us to use the correct colored pencil for the parts of the Florida flag and the State Seal. Then we learned about the state motto and wrote that on the worksheet, Lastly, we learned the state capital and spelled it out on the worksheet. Then I asked Libby and Remington to spell Tallahassee out loud with me few times.
