For today's lesson, we discussed the word responsibility. They were asked to share their idea of what responsibility means and give an example of a responsibility that they have at home. Then, we discussed the importance of responsibilities as citizens, such as maintaining a clean community, following laws, getting involved, and exercising our right to vote. Finally, we started working on a mini book named "Citizens Have Responsibilities," which we will continue on Wednesday.
