Spreadsheets. Use of MS Excel program to create an accurate spreadsheet of Test results (similar to a teacher's class) and have Excel auto-calculate the totals and test averages. Handout assignment of a printed list of students and data given for several Test Grades. Creation of a "teacher record" of these grades on Excel and student is shown commands/instructions on Excel to compute test score sums and averages for each student.

During today's lesson, PJ was given an MS Excel assignment to copy a given list of student test grades andshown how to properly label the Rows and Columns on the Excel spreadsheet. PJ was receptive and attentive to the details required for a properly formatted spreadsheet. The next step will be to show him how Excel will perform "auto-calculations" in summing columns of data and eventually calculating students' test averages.
