Remington drew his Haitangzun style Chinese vase. He had to roll the die to see what his vase’s borders, flowers, and animal would be from the design choices and then draw them. For Example: Die Roll Number 1 for a border: a roll of four is a zipper design. Die Roll Number 3 for an animal: a roll of five is a fish. After he drew his borders, flowers, and one animal, he started to draw the real sunflowers before him. He will be using colored pencils for the vase and oil pastels for the sunflowers. He will learn about Vincent van Gogh’s sunflowers as well.
