We read and reviewed the main plot developments and character dynamics in Chapters XIII and IV, reconstructing expedition events and clarifying survivor outcomes. We reviewed the status and outcomes of the main characters on the exploration team, the third expedition's collapse, and the use of figurative analogies to demonstrate how Danieleweski builds dread by his unconventional use of layered narrative sand typography.
