We designed two landscapes for Remington's houses and talked about the horizon line. Remington painted the skies using blue and white paint and feathery brushstrokes to create atmospheric skies. We created clouds and trees out of found materials and glued them on the backgrounds. We reviewed the principle of aerial perspective: objects in the background are smaller in size, duller in color, and have less detail.
