We continued working on Kaitlin's AP style essay on the impact of ideologies on imperialism. We first addressed how to incorporate phrases such as "due to, as a result of" etc into the first paragraph in order to establish a clear line of reasoning. We then discussed the role of nationalism after which Kaitlin drafted a paragraph explaining the relationship between nationalism and imperialism in Africa. Last, I provided instruction and examples of transition phrases to use in order to begin our next paragraph on Social Darwinism. Kaitlin will draft this paragraph as homework for our next session on Wednesday.l
