As a review to last week, Patrick completed the short a section of "Explode the Code," practicing phonemic awareness, rhyming words, short a word families, identifying and omitting duplicate words. We reviewed his sight words by playing Hangman Spelling. (Patrick requests playing this game every week! :) Where, when, and other are difficult for him to grasp. He read level B. He identified the main idea and came up with four supporting details. He recorded this information into a graphic organizer. He took on a comprehension quiz and earned 5/5.
