Today Ayden wrote his 3X tables two times for practice. We made flashcards which he will be studying at home nightly. He should bring this back and forth to school each day. We reviewed content learned in Topic 2. These skills include mental math, knowing key words that tell him which operations to use to solve a problem, estimating sums and differences of whole numbers, adding and subtracting whole numbers and subtracting across zeros.
