Patrick read Level C: Feelings. He was introduced to the following sight words: sometimes, have and many. He often gets ahead of himself with reading, and throws off the accuracy. We worked on reading words one by one, and this improved. We've been practicing using his context clues to make sense of an unknown word, and he applied that to the word: "change" in the following sentence. "Sometimes my feelings change from time to time," The first attempt at reading was choppy and used to identify sight words and phonetically sound out many words. He re-read it a second time, and showed much improvement with fluency.
