Maya did a great job today in math class. She beat her fastest time with her 6X tables. She practiced on a multiplication wrap-up. She was happy to say that she now has one at home to practice, as well. Maya learned in lesson 4-5 to subtract three digit numbers across zeros. She demonstrated a clear understanding when she completed several problems independently. She has a good grasp on regrouping ones, tens, and hundreds and can easily explain this concept while solving subtraction problems. Maya was able to express her word and picture summaries in V/V. She read a passage about llamas and answered higher order thinking questions. In Fast ForWord she did a great job coming close to her records. Maya worked diligently today and was very productive.
