Maya completed reading about Ruby Bridges. She wrote and illustrated a brief letter/essay about Ruby's bravery. She presented her work to Ms. Judie. We conducted internet research, watched brief biographical videos, and discussed the life and accomplishments of Caesar Chavez. We completed a Venn diagram comparing the activism of Rosa Parks and Caesar Chavez.
