Today Maya scored a 100 on her 11X table quiz, and solved all 25 problems in record time. In math lesson 9-5, Maya learned how to translate words or situations to expressions. She learned a new mathematical term, numerical expression. Maya was able to determine which of the four operations to use in a situation given. She practiced using symbols to show the relationship between numbers. In L-B, Maya continued on an activity we started yesterday. She is working on remembering a small moment, of which she able to visualize. Today we created a list using some of her senses and structure words to help generate the details from her special moment. In FF, Maya continued her program and beat her high score in Leaping Lizards. I know she is excited about this weekend's run and swimming with the manatees. I hope that you all have a great time!
