Patrick completed his research and creation of his book on dogs. He practiced his keyboarding skills and used the internet to research his chosen topics. He now understands the parts of a search engine and how to find information using descriptors and how to distinguish between company and informational sites. We incorporated proper writing conventions: complete sentences, capitalization, punctuation, spelling short and long vowel words, reading a chart, and reading more challenging texts to find information.
