Today Maya began by taking a quiz on the 2, 3, and 4X tables. She scored a 96%. Then we reviewed the material she has learned in Topic 10, i.e lines, line segments, angles, and polygons. In Lesson 10-6 Maya learned to identify and classify triangles in two basic ways. She learned many new vocabulary terms and was able to use these terms on her own. Maya can classify triangles by their sides and their angles, stating whether they are right, acute, or obtuse triangles. She can also decipher the differences between equilateral, isosceles, or scalene triangles. Maya continued in her FF program and played three games. In LB, she continued to work on activity 15 in her workbook. She completed a word summary and answered imagery questions. We also read from a book, that we started some time ago. Maya was able to make inferences and relay the details from the reading, afterwards. Have a great weekend!
