Today Maya began by completing a multiplication practice drill. She is doing well and should continue to study her tables until they are all rote. Then Maya reviewed all of the concept learned last week on Topic 10-Solids and Shapes. Maya learned more about polygons with 4 sides. She knows that these are called quadrilaterals. She learned the characteristics of trapezoids, rhombuses, squares, and rectangles. Maya completed her daily protocol in FF. We had some technical issues, but was able to rectify them and return to work. In LB, Maya continued to read a book called Katie Switcheroo. She was able to visualize details of the story. Maya proceeded to act out parts of the story to demonstrate her reading comprehension. She did need frequent refocusing today, but overall we were able to complete her work for the day.
