Today in math class Maya reviewed material from last Friday's lesson in order to build onto in Lesson 12-2. She learned to use a fraction to describe a part of a region, and draw a picture of a region to show a fraction. Maya continues to build her math vocabulary with terms such as numerator and denominator. She was demonstrated how some fractions can look different, but may be equivalent. Maya's effort in FF today was not as strong as usual. She was exhausted by the end of the day and expressed she is still feeling under the weather. In LB, Maya is taking pleasure in writing about a memorable event where she is recording important details, and now sequencing them. She is looking forward to the final product.
