To complete his College English essay, Brandon made a special trip into the school today. After reading/mapping our argument, Brandon decided on the key points he would like to counter in his rebuttal paragraph. To do this, he needed to research the affects of raising the minimum wage on low-income workers and make a strong case for why a wage hike would not really benefit these individuals. Brandon argued that with a minimum wage increase, these workers' yearly income would also raise, disqualifying them from government assistance programs like food stamps, etc. We were able to complete the first draft with no problems, and Brandon submitted it by the end of the day.
