English - Explain/give examples of adjectives and adverbs. Adjectives describe nouns - That tall young boyman is a great athlete. Adjectives are tall, young, and great. There are also demonstrative adjectives - this, that, these, and those as, well as, proper adjectives - American, Italian, etc. and must be capitalized. Adverbs describe action verbs, other adverbs, and can describe adjectives telling "to what degree." The dogs were barking loudly. (loudly) The team played extremely well. (extremely) and The teacher is very nice. (very) Complete exercises. Devon did well…can't remember the names (demonstrative) but knows which to use in a sentence. Good session.
