Introduce short story "Charles" by Shirley Jackson - explain point of view (vantage point from which the author tells the story). This story deals with the plot and one has to make inferences throughout. Answer comprehension questions. This was a funny story with a surprise ending…which both Devon and I enjoyed reading.
