Lesson Outline
We started our session with a little recess and a quick snack which helped Patrick re-energize. We started with the quick drill in reverse then did oral spelling. He spelled three two syllable words with blends and welded sounds, five magic e words and learned the sight words are and come. We then did dictation which he wrote on a white board and photographed. He marked up the syllables as either v-e (silent e) or c for closed. Lastly he read the poem The Bike Ride which consists of rhyming magic e words. We reviewed the cursive letters and added b and capital q.

Practice cursive and read The Bike Ride.
