During this session, Will explored the military, economic, political, and religious policies and events during the reigns of Henry IV and Louis XIV. Included in this session were the political advisors, including Richelieu, the construction of Versailles, and the events that led to the discontent of French peasants prior to the French Renaissance. We also discussed the decline of France during that time period due to economic instability caused by multiple factors.
