Lesson Outline
Today we discussed the causes and short and long term consequences and effects of the Industrial Revolution in Europe. Our graphic organizer included improvements in general living conditions, arms & military manufacturing, railroad creation, and the utilization of natural resources. In exploring the interconnected elements of the IR, we also touched on how factory work spurred a workers rights movement which later led to a clear delineation in economic policies and ideologies (Socialism, Communism, Capitalism).
