While this isn't related directly to quadrilaterals, it is a section at the end of chapter 6 in the text and I felt it would be worthwhile to have a discussion of quadratic functions and put a graphing calculator in Will's hands for a while. We graphed several parabolas with different parameters on the calculator. We finished up with a discussion of parabolic (dish) antennas and why they are parabolic.
