Bobby and I researched, watched brief videos, and explored the online components of his Social Studies program as we learned about the Native American tribes of Florida. The focus today was on the Calusa of Southwest Florida. We read documents, researched historical websites, and talked about his prior knowledge and interest in this tribe. He compared and contrasted his own interests with this fishing tribe. He read and answered comprehension questions as well.
