Brandon's textbooks finally arrived, so we were able to start reading from the assigned novel. We are making connections between the content in the previous videos (the middle ages and the crusades) and the content in the text (the East in the crusades), which is helping to keep track of where the course is headed, as we are both unfamiliar with the specific course content. We read all of the other assigned readings and nearly finished the chapter. Nice work, Brandon!
