Today we reviewed the alphabet and the days of the week. We are singing the days of the week song as well as the alphabet song. We looked at the days of the week written down and tried to sort them in order.
After snack we read Baby Animals on Raz Kids. Becca loves her story about Farm Animals so we read Baby Animals and compared the two stories. She found three animals that were in both stories. She reviewed each animal and demonstrated the sound that each animal makes. We also matched each animal to their habitat. For our final activity we counted up to five and organized shapes by their size, color, and shape. Rebecca wouldn't tell me the colors today or count out loud but she did sort the colors correctly.
