Today we had a very full day! We got lots done and Analise did a great job! We started the day with our days of the week song, the calendar (We will do this every morning) we will go over the month, day, day of the week (yesterday, today & tomorrow) and do our weather chart! I got her a pointer and she loves loves loves using it!
Using her pointer she pointed and counted to 100. She needed help transitioning from 29-30, 39-40 & so on.. We also started counting by 10s.
We reviewed the concepts of biggest, smallest, over, under, inside and outside.
We also did a lesson on measuring up to 12in. We measured all different things around the classroom! She had so much fun doing this!
We also started our Alphabet book. We began with letter A. She cut out an apple and glued it onto her page and practiced writing both upper and lowercase A's! We also looked at eye spy pictures and she was able to pick out all of the pictures beginning with the letter A! We ended the day with a shape matching game!
