What a great ending to a first full week! Analise is so smart and such a pleasure to work with! After our normal morning routine she practices writing her first and last name every day and her handwriting has already improved! Today we worked on letters Ee, Ff and Gg. We created pages for her alphabet book. For each letter she practices writing the letter, learns the letter sound and we think of words that begin with that letter. She is very proud of her work and has put a lot of thought and hard work into it! We are also learning a phonics alphabet letter sounds song! Today we also used the white board for our magnetic letters. She has to match the lowercase with the upper and then she draws a picture that begins with that letter. This is great practice and a lot of fun!
She is also counting to 100 perfectly without any hesitation. I'm so proud of her!!
She helped me make a chart to take a survey of which month has the most birthdays of all the people in our school. Her prediction is that October will have the most birthdays. We are still missing a few, but once our survey is complete we will make some different graphs to show our findings!
